As the year draws to a close, the OTT is gearing up to host a slate of exciting films that will stream through December 2024. From heartwarming family dramas to adrenaline-pumping thrillers and rib-tickling comedies, these films are making their way to digital platforms after their theatrical run.
Viewers can look forward to Binny and Family, a touching tale of intergenerational bonding; Jigra, a gritty narrative of familial sacrifice; Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, a hilarious romp about an unusual quest; and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, a spooky yet fun horror-comedy. Adding to the festive cheer is Singham Again, the latest high-octane actioner from Rohit Shetty's Cop Universe.

Binny and Family (OTT platform and streaming date yet to be announced)
Waveband Productions, Balaji Motion Pictures, and Mahaveer Jain Films produced Binny and Family, while Ssanjay Tripaathy directed it. Mahaveer Jain and Balaji Telefilms are presenting the film, along with Shashank Khaitan and Mrighdeep Singh Lamba. Debutante Anjini Dhawan, Pankaj Kapur, Rajesh Kumar, Charu Shankar, Himani Shivpuri, and Naman Tripathy are among the actors featured in it. The film received a positive reception upon its release on September 27, 2024.
Binny (Anjini Dhawan), a troubled, punk, and defiant adolescent from London, and her conservative granddad (Pankaj Kapur), a native of a small town in Bihar, are polar opposites. A shocking incident pulls their lives together. Will they be able to form a bond and positively impact one another's lives? Binny and Family, a three-generation coming-of-age story, explores this question by taking viewers on an emotional journey.
Jigra - Netflix (streaming date yet to be announced)
Debashish Irengbam co-wrote the action thriller Jigra, while Vasan Bala directed it. Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Mishra jointly produce the film under Dharma Productions, along with Alia Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt's Eternal Sunshine Productions. Vedang Raina portrays Alia Bhatt, a disturbed young woman, as she goes to jail to save her brother. Jigra made its global debut in theatres on October 11, 2024, also known as Vijayadashami. Critics gave it mediocre reviews, and the film did poorly at the box office.
Jigra tells the tragic story of a sister (Alia Bhatt) who risks everything to get revenge for her brother (Vedang Raina). They test their friendship, ethics, and inner strength on their journey to reunite. Who among us wouldn't do anything to shield our possessions from harm?
Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video - Netflix (streaming date yet to be announced)
Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri feature in the comedy Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video about a couple who go on a quest to find a misplaced sex tape. Production companies T-Series Films, Balaji Motion Pictures, Wakaoo Films, and Kathavachak Films are behind it, and Raaj Shaandilyaa is both the writer and director of the film. Critics were not kind when the film opened in theatres on October 11, 2024.
In Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, the theft of a newlywed couple's (Rajkummar and Triptii) private video CD threatens their relationship and reputation. As they face a number of unforeseen obstacles in their mad dash to retrieve the CD, the plot thickens.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 - Netflix (streaming date yet to be announced)
Written by Aakash Kaushik and produced by T-Series Films and Cine1 Studios, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is a comedy horror film directed by Anees Bazmee. The eponymous franchise has already released Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007) and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 (2022), with this being the third installment. The film takes place in Kolkata and features Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, and Triptii Dimri in the lead roles.
The theatrical premiere of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 took place on 1 November 2024, coinciding with Diwali. Critics had different opinions. It became the sixth highest-grossing Indian film of 2024 and the third highest-grossing Hindi film, with a global gross of nearly ₹375 crore.
As a con artist pretending to be an exorcist, Ruhaan, aka Rooh Baba (Kartik Aaryan), takes on a lucrative case at a haunted castle. Along the way, he uncovers a dark scheme involving evil priests, and the story takes an exciting turn that is both amusing and terrifying.

Rohit Shetty, under his production company Rohit Shetty Picturez, collaborated with Reliance Entertainment, Jio Studios, and Devgn Films to write and direct the action film Singham Again. In addition to Ajay Devgn in the titular role, the film also features Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, and Arjun Kapoor. This is the latest entry in Shetty's Cop Universe series, that is, the fifth installment.
The film's release on November 1, 2024, coinciding with Diwali, divided critics. As a result of its over ₹379 crore international gross, the film has surpassed all expectations and is now the second highest-grossing Hindi film of 2024, ranking fifth among Indian films overall.
